Teenseed identifies girls in the Kiambiu Informal Settlements with a talent, skill and interest in STEM and identifies opportunities for them to develop and pursue these skills. We have partnered with the Kenya National Library Service that has introduced a coding program for girls. Opportunities are limited and we believe that exposure can expand the options and possibilities for girls who desire a future in what is a traditionally male dominated space. In 2023, the girls also undertook training in photography.
