What Girls Tell Us: Many girls still manage their periods using rags, old mattress foam, or improvised cloths. They say they avoid school because they fear stained uniforms, teasing, or sitting in class feeling unsafe. Through #Pads4Progress, Teenseed tries to respond to these experiences with dignity kits and menstrual health sessions that build knowledge and confidence.

The Hidden Risks Behind Absenteeism: When girls stay home, they are not just missing lessons; they become more vulnerable to exploitation, coercion, or practices like sex-for-fish in some communities. We have seen how absenteeism weakens protection structures and increases the risk of early pregnancy and GBV.
